If you are a Veteran or active member of the armed forces, we have a free, transformational program at Cape Cod Community College designed to help you transition into life post-service.
Partnering with the National Veterans Transition Services Inc. (aka REBOOT), this one-of-a-kind, 3-day long workshop will give you the foundation skills necessary to transition successfully. Completely free for all Veterans, the program runs over three days and provides free breakfast and lunch alongisde nationally renowned programming by the REBOOT team.
Day One: Establishing a New Identity
On this day, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery, learning the intricacies of cognitive processes—how thoughts can be both an ally and an obstacle. You will acquire strategies to harness positive thinking and mitigate negative mental patterns. This first day lays the groundwork for you to construct a robust new identity that is pivotal for their successful transition into a new civilian career.
Day Two: Building Networks and Defining Missions
This day helps you to bridge the gap to a successful transition. You will delve into the personal facets of your values and talents. You will also explore strategic planning to carve out a path that leads to a life imbued with purpose and vision.
Day Three: Discovering Career DNA and Building Brand
This day is dedicated to uncovering your unique "career DNA" which involves identifying our individual strengths, skills, and experiences that are crucial for your future career path. You will engage in Career DNA Mapping, Brand Building, Networking Strategies, AI-Driven Career Insights, Real-Time Job Matching, AI-Based Resume Generation, and AI Job Application. This will set you up with a clear roadmap and the necessary tools to confidently step into the civilian job market, equipped with a strong personal brand and a network to support your career aspirations.
